The team behind it all

Our people

Wapanacki is, at its base, a naturally beautiful property. But it wouldn’t be what it is today without these people (and dog).

Andrew Prescott with Henry the camp golden

Owner & operator

Andrew Prescott

Andrew owns and operates Camp Wapanacki as well as Urban AdvenTours in the heart of Boston. He grew up in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and attended Wesleyan University.

Ivan Menard on the lodge porch

Master of many trades

Ivan Menard

Wapanacki would be nothing without the likes of this man. Master of many trades, and there isn’t a better guy to grab a beer with.

Jen and Kathy

Housekeeping

Jen & Kathy

Fantastic neighbors and true Vermont farmers who make sure every cabin is neat and clean. Say hello if you see them around camp!

Ken Prescott

Our biggest supporter

Ken Prescott

Instrumental in helping Andrew acquire the camp, and still one of our most diligent workers.

Bob Hande at camp

Neighbor on the hill

Bob Hande

A resident of the hill for over 40 years. Bob painted many of our buildings and walked through camp three times a week.

Henry, the camp golden

Camp golden

Henry

Woof woof! I love jumping off the dock into the lake and exploring nature. As a dog-friendly camp, we look forward to all our doggo friends visiting.

Erwin at Camp Wapanacki

1940–2024 · The heart of camp

Erwin

A neighbor on the hill who worked here in the days of the camp for the blind, the Girl Scouts and today. Everywhere you look, you can see Erwin’s impact. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

A dog-friendly camp

Henry would love a new friend. Bring your pup to explore the trails and jump off the dock.
